2026
- July 2026 I am participating in the Climate Change AI School over the summer, while I'm recovering from PhD stress. Otherwise I'm taking it slow, just reviewing some papers for IEEE Sensors Journal and ECCV 2026.
- May 2026 I defended my PhD at ITU Copenhagen 🥳. Huge thanks to my committee members Aske Mottelson, Rikke Gade, and Hanumant Singh for making it so fun!
- April 2026 I will be on a panel discussion on "Marine Autonomy: overhyped or overlooked from different perspectives" at AUV2026 in Southampton, UK.
- March 2026 Paper accepted at AUV2026 on "3D Gaussian Splatting as Test Video Generators for Loop Closure in Underwater vSLAM".
- Feb 2026 I will give a talk on underwater visual anomaly detection at the Marine Imaging Workshop in Gibraltar.
- Jan 2026 We published a new dataset on Anomalous UnderwateR Activity (AURA), check it out!

- July 2025 We published our joint statement on Doctoral Supervision as part of the Eurodoc working group that I am co-leading.
- May 2025 Paper accepted at Ecological Informatics: "SeagrassFinder: Deep Learning for Eelgrass Detection and Coverage Estimation in the Wild".
